Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
“My focus is already about the next championship we’re going to do this,” the star player stated through an interpreter.
The procession path ended at the stadium, where the team emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and the artist cruising a light blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.
