Football Analyst Sutton Takes On Singer Murs in Premier League Forecasts
Arsenal's 10-game winning streak came to an end by Sunderland prior to the global hiatus, however will the Premier League leaders bounce back against north London rivals Spurs this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."
The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, against AI, readers and a variety of special visitors.
In week 12, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.
Murs' latest record, Knees Up, is out on the weekend.
Football and Parenting Experiences
Murs is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a star of multiple charity football matches down the years - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a charity match the other night for a friend of mine," he explained. "The team was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my daughter or son decides to play instead."
Murs and his spouse his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.
"I will not push football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be coaching their weekend soccer side," he added.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a child, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our team for several years and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Forecasts

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their attack is now more potent with Pedro and Delap both back fit.
In my opinion this fixture will be quite close, though. The Clarets are well organised and their sole home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple games - although both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they appear competitive again.
The Hammers' only away win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's manager.
So, what exactly do I predict here - can West Ham extending their streak under Nuno, or the home side responding?
I am going to choose the Cherries, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
Olly's prediction: Bournemouth are performing strongly but West Ham have picked up under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign started, but they have impressed a several people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their last four matches.
My son told me to select Brentford forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely score again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
They have not had much fortune on the road this season, and Brighton are consistently decent at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's side carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
Olly's view: This could be a match where you think there is going to be a many goals but it actually proves to be rather tight. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six games.
They have have plenty of quality in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.
Regarding the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.
The away side's performance in the two-all tie with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We've not witnessed anyone else rough up the Gunners like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.
The sensible thing to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the end of October.
However I am not do that. Instead, I really need to continue opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of credit for their good outcomes because they evidently love to defy my predictions.
Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage form, the only team they have lost to is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be extremely desperate for a good result, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and also that the hosts are on a poor streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
It is a tough one to call. The Reds have suffered seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but could they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
